#1 – The Classic Engagement Ring Style
These are the classics. Tiffany …. Cartier …. De Beers. Sound familiar? A classic design will never go out of style. It most often has one to three diamonds, or gemstones, in the setting – and if there are pave diamonds (i.e. tiny, tiny diamonds) it’s pretty minimal. Yep… these are the LBD’s of bridal jewelry.

Characteristics: Clean lines, and a simple aesthetic. From solitaires to three stone designs, a classic engagement ring usually has a limited number of gemstones.
Pros – Classic engagement rings, as mentioned before, will never go out of style. While the trends come and go, a solitaire lasts forever.
Cons – Some say it can get a bit boring being basic. I don’t think so! But if you need a little extra pizzazz, add another diamond band opposite your wedding band to rev up your sparkle. Keep the third band separate, and change-up your look from time to time.
High Polish Favorite – No surprise here…it’s the granddaddy of them all – The Tiffany SettingĀ©. The ultimate classic setting. And ,while I prefer yellow gold, the platinum setting shown above ain’t half bad either.
